Until now, the popular Bluetooth wireless communication protocol would only be based on the 2.4GHz band, but this may change in the future, as the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) recently announced a new “Specification Development Project” to add the 6GHz frequency band to Bluetooth LE . Mark Powell, CEO of the Bluetooth SIG explains the move: The Bluetooth SIG community is continually advancing technology to meet the ever-growing market demands for wireless communications. The expansion of the 6GHz spectrum band will ensure that society can continue to make the improvements needed to pave the way for the next 20 years of Bluetooth innovation. Radxa E25 router

The Radxa E25 is a modular router with two 2.5 GbE ports based on the Radxa CM3 Industrial (CM3I) system on a unit equipped with a Rockchip RK3568 quad-core Cortex-A55 processor, optional support for WiFi 6 and 4G or 5G for cellular connectivity. I got an early sample of the Radxa E25 carrier board in January, but the company has now improved the design with version 1.4 of the board and will launch the Radxa E25 as a complete router with a NanoPi R5S-like enclosure and the LinkStar H68K we’ve covered previously. AIR32F103 development board

The Air32F103 is another version of the STM32F103 microcontroller that can be faster if needed with a clock of up to 216MHz instead of the 72MHz of the original STMicro STM32 Arm Cortex-M3 microcontroller. The first SKU in the family is the Air32F103CBT6 whose peripherals and design are compatible with equivalent STM32F103CBT6 parts and offered with 32KB RAM and 128KB Flash. There is also a development board similar to Bluepill, but with a different pinout, made by LuatOS. The documentation for the board and microcontrollers can be found in the Wiki including the MCU datasheet which refers to models with 256KB flash, 64KB SRAM (Air32F103CCT6) and 96KB SRAM (Air32F103RPT6). LinkStar H68K

The Linkstar H68K is a Rockchip RK3568 multimedia router with two 2.5GbE ports, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, optional WiFi Module 6, Bluetooth 5.2, a few USB ports, and an HDMI 2.1 port that supports up to 4Kp60. The Rockchip RK3568 was initially introduced as a solution for NVRs, but I haven’t seen any yet, instead we got some SBCs and mini PCs, as well as several routers like the NanoPi R5S, FastRhino R68s, and the upcoming Radxa E25 that will be announced next week.
