The Scrubber 50 Pro 4-in-1 solution will work alongside commercial cleaning teams to scrub, sweep, mop and sanitize.

San FranciscoAnd the October 10 2022 /PRNewswire/- SoftBank Robotics America (SBRA), the North American arm of the global leader in robotics solutions, and gusiumToday, the leading provider of self-cleaning solutions and service robots, announced their partnership to deploy automated in-house automated solutions to the US market. The partnership will focus on helping companies successfully adopt, integrate and scale robotic solutions within their organizations.

X1 and Scrubber 50 Pro (S50) are the first two solutions deployed to support businesses that are understaffed or entering the next phase of changing the way work is done.

These collaborative robots work hand in hand with employees to relieve menial and repetitive tasks so employees can focus on higher value responsibilities, increasing efficiency, improving employee and customer satisfaction, streamlining operations and reducing employee turnover.

X1, the standalone food service solution for the hospitality industry, is equipped with three serving trays that can hold up to 30kg. Its collision-free, spill-resistant technology allows the X1 to run food and drinks on multiple tables simultaneously, mapping the most efficient path to tables or back to the kitchen while navigating customers, staff, furniture and other robots. The robot’s advanced shock mitigating mechanisms ensure a smooth and stable delivery experience for drinks or liquid dishes. In addition to helping run food, the X1 also helps servers make bus schedules more efficient so they can spend more time with customers and turn tables faster.

The partnership has successfully deployed its first fleet of X1’s at The Hall On The Yard, a 12,250-square-foot full-service food court with nine restaurants in Orlando Florida.

Following the successful marketing and deployment of Whiz, an autonomous vacuum cleaner, SBRA is expanding its range of cleaning robots and deepening its commitment to a smarter, cleaner and healthier environment with the introduction of the S50 Pro. S50 Pro is a 4-in-1 solution for purifying, sweeping, wiping and sanitizing. The S50 Pro can simultaneously clean and disinfect floors, automatically locate cleaning by detecting and remove stains before they spread, and can send messages to operators when it encounters significant waste that requires additional cleaning support.

“Gausium technology is at the forefront of commercial service robots. Its products are smart, secure and simple, and it enables customers to easily adopt them into their businesses,” Brady WatkinsPresident of SoftBank Robotics America. “To solve the labor shortage problem faced by many industries, we help companies move beyond adoption and focus on integrating and scaling their technologies to maximize the value that our solutions offer.”

“SBRA is the right partner to bring our products to market across the United States,” he said. Aline Chang, head of the external business department at Gausium. “Extensive customer support continues after the point of sale and ensures that all adopters receive the expected return on experience and investment when using our bots.”
