The city-run Colegio de Muntinlupa (CDM) hosted the 2022 Muntinlupa City Robotics Fair and Exhibits, which gave students the chance to show off their science skills.
Mayor Ruffy Biazon led the opening ceremony for the 2022 Muntinlupa City Robotics Show and Exhibition at the Clean Development Center.

“We challenge the youth of Muntinlupeño to participate in activities such as robotics fairs and exhibitions because they will be the driving force in achieving a sustainable country. We also aspire to have more science and engineering graduates in the city of Muntinlupe.
The Robotics Show is an annual program of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) that showcases the initiatives of the College of Engineering regarding the latest industry trends. This year’s theme was “Innovative Approaches to Learning: A Sustainable City Powered by Robotics”.
“It is important to prepare the country’s human resources to face the challenges and opportunities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as the need to increase the level of productivity, the issue of automation, and mechanization. The approaches to robotics engineering, artificial intelligence, mechatronics, and the Internet of Things are among the most important,” said Dr. Tess Fortuna, Chair of the CDM College. Among other things, it will be applicable to meet these challenges.
Part of the fair was the Battle of the Bots and Science Quest Quiz Show.
CDM thanked its partners for the 2022 Muntinlupa City Robotics Show and Exhibition: Ministry of Science and Technology – National Capital Region (DOST-NCR), Ministry of Education – Muntinlupa, De La Salle Santiago Zobel School, and Muntinlupa City Government.
